La historia de Cuko, un pobre perro al que dispararon y lo dieron por muerto, es una historia de desamor y esperanza. El inocente animal estaba ocupado en sus propios asuntos cuando los cazadores comenzaron a dispararle, lo que hizo que huyera y cayera al río.

But Fahrudin was determined to save Cuko, and so were his team. They did everything in their power to keep the dog alive and comfortable, even as he faced what seemed like insurmountable odds. And after six days of intensive care, Cuko was still alive and fighting.

Despite the severe injury to his spine, Cuko had an incredible will to live. The vet team worked tirelessly to strengthen him physically, and then began to assess his chances of surviving the operation to remove the buckshot from his spine. It was uncertain whether he would ever walk again, but the volunteers were committed to helping him in any way they could.

In the end, Cuko's story is a testament to the power of hope and the resilience of the human (and animal) spirit.
